Cask type: refill hogsheads

Nose: Peach, melon, cheesecake, brine, coconut and sultana. What a cake of a nose. Delicious.
Palate: Yellow fruit, canteloupe, vanilla, some chocolate. A mild smoky thread.
Finish: Sweet, stonefruit sorbet, long with some soft woody notes.
Overall: The thread of smoke really rescues this from being a bit of a fruity bore, and the higher proof certainly helps too. This was really enjoyable.
